By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

Georgian Imereti AgroZone has announced an interest expression for participating in the greenhouse cluster development project, Trend reports via Georgian media.

As noted by Deputy Agriculture Minister Giorgi Khanishvili, the Government has already spent 2.5 million lari ($754,020) on the AgroZone designing works.

“This project calls for developing an important cluster in Tskaltubo District," he said.

According to him, Imereti AgroZone has implemented unique designing works.

"We have communicated with the world’s all financial institutions to draw their interest towards greens cluster development in western Georgia. This will be a unique cluster with a hothouse complex. This will enable both foreign and domestic investors who are interested in the production of greens or other cultures to make investments in this cluster”, Khanishvili said.

Imereti AgroZone products will be exported abroad from Kutaisi Airport.

‘This will enable us to supply high-quality products to global markets in the shortest period. This is the first super modern offer for global investors. This cluster will enable us to conquer any market”, Khanishvili said.
