TEHRAN, Iran, Aug. 16

Trend:

A member of the Iran Chamber of Commerce said any government that comes to power in Kabul has to open the way for trade relations, although we are cautious and worried.

The export obstacles have led to higher prices for petroleum products in Afghanistan, but that does not mean that all common borders are closed, Seyed Hamid Hosseini said, Trend reports citing ILNA.

Noting his latest connection with Iran- Afghanistan traders, he says that goods and products are still exchanged at the border of Milak and Zabol.

"It seems that any government that comes to power in Kabul has to open the way for trade relations," he said.

Hosseini went on to note that the common borders in Sistan and Baluchestan provinces were supposed to be opened but have not been opened yet.

“The Customs do not allow trucks to leave, but it is safe on the other side of the border and it is said that it will open soon,” he announced.

Hosseini predicted that with the reopening of the borders, trades will begin soon.
