The passenger car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group decreased by 2.8 percent during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through October 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, Iran Khodro manufactured 242,276 passenger cars in 7 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 249,330 passenger cars.
Within 7 months, the Iran Khodro manufactured 159,061 units Peugeot, 30,794 units Samand, 29,197 units Dena, 16,908 units Runna, 3,245 units Haima, 2,968 units Tara, and 103 units Peugeot 2008 cars.
In addition, Iran Khodro Automaker Company manufactured 36,342 passenger cars in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2021).
Reportedly, three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured 501,635 passenger cars in the first 7 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 1.1 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured about 496,095 passenger cars in the same period last Iranian year.
