Azerbaijan, Baku, 31 March / Trend / Nikolai Baybakov, the well-known Soviet State personality, who headed the SSSR State Commission of Council of Ministers on perspective planning of national economy and head of the SSSR State Plan died on 31 March, the Aid for Economic Development Fund named Baybakov reported to TREND News.
According to the Fund, Baybakov died after contracting pneumonia.
Nikolai Konstantinovich Baybakov was born in Azerbaijan on 6 March 1911. He was awarded the Laureate of Lenin Premium for the opening and development of gas-condensate fields, he was also President of the State Oil and Gas University named I.M Gubkin, chairman of Supervision Council of Russian Association 'Conference of independent drill and service contactors' and was Vice President of International Fuel-Energy Association.
