Baqhlan Group FZCO Company (UAE) studies the data and materials within project on cleanup of oil-polluted areas in Buzovna (settlement of Baku) and the recovery of oil, a source at SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) said on June 18. Formerly Baqhlan Group FZCO presented a package of proposals for this project. The land plot on the territory of Buzovna is owned by SOCAR.
"Currently only theoretical study of materials available is carried out within the project, but the physical work has not begun yet," said the same source.
The source did not report the details of the project.
