In September Working groups comprised of experts from Azerbaijan and Turkey will be established under the project on construction of a new gas pipeline, which will connect the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey, SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) said on Aug.10.
Working groups will deal with technical aspects of the Igdyr-Nakhchivan pipeline, SOCAR added.
A preliminary decision to build a new pipeline was taken during a meeting between Head of SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev and a delegation headed by Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister, Taner Yıldız.
