Kazakhstan will export 5.06 million tons of oil through Russia in the first quarter of 2011, as reflected by the data in the oil exports schedule for the first quarter of 2011 posted on the Energy Intelligence Group website.
Of the country's total oil exports via Russia, 2.535 million tons will be delivered to the port of Novorossiysk, 625,000 tons to Poland, 650,000 tons to Slovakia, 250 000 to Hungary and 1 million tons to Primorsk.
In general, Kazakhstan will export oil in the amount of 412,000 barrels per day through Russia during the first quarter of 2011.
According to BP, in 2009, Kazakhstan produced 78 million tons of oil, with the daily oil production in the country amounting to 1.682 million barrels, while the oil reserves of Kazakhstan amounted to 39.8 billion barrels.
