Iran's major gas consumers - household, industry and public sectors consumed some 4.3 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas on Oct.23-29.
The Shana news agency reported that large industrial units and power plants consumed over 2.8bcm of natural gas and residential units and small businesses consumed some 1.5bcm of natural gas during the report period.
The figures were 2.5bcm and 1.2bcm, respectively, in the same period of 2010.
