Azerenergy, (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) generated more than 19.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-November, compared to about 17.9 billion kilowatt-hours in January-November 2011, Azerenergy reported on Monday.
Around 17.5 billion kilowatt-hours of the total volume of generated electricity for 11 months fell to thermal power plants and the rest being more than 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours to hydroelectric power stations.
Azerenergy generated more than 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in November. The flow of electricity with neighbouring countries such as Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia was continued in November.
