American oil down by almost 4%

The average price of North American crude on October 31 amounted to $45.91 per barrel, or $1.89 less than on October 28, a source on the oil and gas market told Trend.

The average price of North American crude on October 31 amounted to $45.91 per barrel, or $1.89 less than on October 28, a source on the oil and gas market told Trend.

The spot price for US crude oil WTI (Cushing), produced in the US state of Texas, on Oct. 31 fell $1.89 to stand at $46.83 per barrel. The density of WTI is 40 degrees API, sulfur content - 0.4-0.5 percent. This sort of oil is mainly used to produce gasoline and therefore the demand for it is high, particularly in the US and China.

The price of US crude oil WTS (Midland) was $46.16 per barrel on Oct. 31, or $1,89 less than the previous price.

The cost of LLS light oil amounted to $48.18 per barrel, or $1.89 less than the previous figure.

The price of American Mars oil October 31 was $43.58 a barrel, $1.89 less than the previous price.

The price of North American oil Bakken on October 31 amounted to $44.81 per barrel, which is $1.89 less than on Oct. 28.

The price of December futures for North American crude oil Nymex Light Sweet on October 31 was $46.86 per barrel, or $1.84 less than the previous figure.
