BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. Iran's Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company (GOGPC), produced more than 225,000 barrels of crude oil by using MOT (Mobile Oil Treater) and MOS (Mobile Oil Separator) equipment, over the past 1 year (October 23, 2021 through October 22, 2022), the Executive Director of the company Mehrdad Kahkesh said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to Kahkesh, the using of MOT and MOS equipment in crude oil production is of great importance in preventing loss and environmental pollution.
The director added that curing the past year, the company has carried out various repairs on oil and gas wells, and repaired various necessary equipment. All this resulted in the company's production continuing without any problems.
Iran's Gachsaran Oil & Gas Production Company (GOGPC) is operating under the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC). The company is engaged in the field of oil production, refining, transportation, as well as natural gas and gas condensate production.
The company produces an average of more than 780,000 barrels of crude oil and more than 1 billion cubic feet (about 28 million cubic meters) of gas per day from 12 oil and gas fields. Most of the gas produced is injected into wells to produce crude oil.
