Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The Government of Azerbaijan has been invited to the annual Economic Forum "Caspian 2008" scheduled to take place in August 2007 in Slovenia. The Consular of Slovenia to Azerbaijan, Borut Megusar, said that the invitation to the Forum will be presented by the new Ambassador of Slovenia to Azerbaijan, Mitja Strukelj, to the Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy, Natig Aliyev.
The Forum is expected to cover the issues of transportation of energy resources from the Caspian region to Western Europe. The Forum will bring together influential representatives of the business circle of the world, politicians, heads of states and governments of the countries of the region.
Last year Azerbaijan had been represented at the Forum at the level of President.
