Investments in socio-economic dev't of Azerbaijan revealed

Some 10.43 billion manat ($6.2 billion) were allocated to fixed assets from all financial sources for the development of the socio-economic sphere of Azerbaijan from January through September of this year, Trend reports, citing data from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

According to the data, this is 3.8 percent less than a year earlier. In the structure of investments, 6.9 billion manat (over $4billion) or 67.1 percent of the funds used were spent on production facilities, 2.49 billion manat ($1.5 billion) (23.9 percent) on service areas, and 942.4 million manat ($554.4 million) (9 percent) on building houses.

In the structure of investments, 6.6 billion manat ($3.9 billion) or 63.9 percent of funds allocated to fixed assets were made up of internal funds. In addition, 6.6 billion manat ($3.9 million), or 63.9 percent of the funds allocated to fixed assets, were spent directly on construction and installation works.

Investment in the oil and gas sector increased by 15.2 percent, while funds allocated to the non-oil sector decreased by 14.1 percent.

The total value of capital investments of enterprises and organizations provided 59.9 percent, the budget fell 22.3 percent, extrabudgetary funds – 1.8 percent, private funds - 6.1 percent, bank loans – 6.5 percent other - 3.4 percent.
