Azerbaijan participated in the 19th Asian International Stamp Exhibition 2006. Azerbaijan was represented in the exhibition by the delegation of Azermarka State Company of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies. The exhibition held on November 13-16 in Dubai was attended by the President of the Company Intigam Bagirli and Department Chief Ajdar Mammadov, Trend reports with reference to the same Company.
The post stamps published in Azerbaijan from 1992 to present were demonstrated in the exhibition. The exhibition was aimed at strengthening the co-operation amongst the philatelists and numismatist of various countries.
The exhibition was held under patronage of the Asian Philatelists Union. The products of the post departments and companies were demonstrated in the exhibition.
