ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 7. About 63,800 transactions worth 19.3 billion tenge (about $40.6 million) were sent to Kazakhstan from abroad through international money transfer systems in June 2024, Trend reports.
The data from the National Bank of Kazakhstan shows that, compared to May 2024 (74,200 transactions worth 20.6 billion tenge), the number of money transfers received decreased by 13.9 percent and the volume of transactions decreased by 6.2 percent.

Meanwhile, the total number of money transfers through international money transfer systems (IMTS) in Kazakhstan amounted to 206,500 transactions worth 75.3 billion tenge (about $158 million) in June 2024. Compared to May 2024, there is a decrease in the number of transfers by 6.2 percent and in the volume of transactions by 0.6 percent.
