BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 30. The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania reached $86.703 million, constituting 0.7 percent of Kyrgyzstan’s overall foreign trade from January through October 2023, Trend reports.
Data from the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan reveals a 71 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022, which the trade stood at $50.572 million.
Kyrgyzstan's exports to Lithuania amounted to $988,900 during the ten-month period, which is an 82 percent decrease compared to the corresponding period in 2022 ($5.274 million). Lithuania's share in Kyrgyzstan's exports remained relatively minimal.
Kyrgyzstan's imports from Lithuania totaled $85.714 million, accounting for 0.9 percent of the country's total imports from January through October 2023. The figure soared by 89 percent compared to the same period the previous year ($45.297 million).
Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade turnover reached $12.297 billion from January through October 2023, which is a 24.9 percent increase compared to $9.845 billion in the same period of 2022.
Exports from Kyrgyzstan totaled $2.443 billion during the 10 months, marking a 29.6 percent increase compared to $1.885 billion recorded from January through October 2022. Imports into Kyrgyzstan amounted to $9.854 billion during this period, up by 23.8 percent compared to the same period in 2022 ($7.959 billion).
