BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6. The value of export from Lithuania to Tajikistan amounted to 6.2 million euro in February 2023, which is 30 percent less than 8.9 million euro in January 2023, Trend reports via Eurostat.
During the period under review, Lithuania exported to Kyrgyzstan mostly the following:
Vehicles, aircraft, vessels and associated transport equipment – 4.8 million euro;
Machinery and mechanical appliances and electrical equipment – 603,914 euro;
Plastics and rubber, products of them – 217,694 euro;
Prepared foodstuffs; beverages, spirits and vinegar; tobacco – 184,123 euro;
Mineral products –161,951 euro;
Products of the chemical or allied industries – 108,259 euro.
Overall, Lithuania exported to Tajikistan products for 62.7 million euro in 2022, which is a substantial increase of 87 percent over 33.6 million euro in 2021.
The value of trade turnover between Tajikistan and EU countries exceeded 84 million euros in the first two months of 2023.
During the specified period, Tajikistan imported goods from the EU countries for more than 56.4 million euros. The value of Tajikistan’s exports to the EU totaled 27.6 million from January through February 2023.
