Uzbekistan’s acting president Shavkat Mirziyoyev has offered condolences to Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the death of Israel’s former president Shimon Peres, said Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry.
Israel’s former president Shimon Peres died in Tel Aviv Sept.28.
Peres was hospitalized following a stroke two weeks ago and had made some progress before a sudden deterioration in his condition Sept.27.
