The volume of investments in fixed capital of Uzbekistan from January through September 2021 reached 163.9 trillion soums ($15.2 billion), Trend reports referring to the State Statistics Committee.
Over the past 10 years, the volume of investments in fixed capital increased by 193.7 trillion soums ($17.9 billion). For comparison, in 2020 this figure was 210.1 trillion soums ($19.4 billion), and in 2010 it amounted to 16.4 trillion soums ($1.5 billion).
The largest investments in fixed capital from January through September 2021 came from the city of Tashkent (38.7 trillion soums or $ 3.5 billion).
Tashkent region is in second place in terms of investments for the same period (17.1 trillion soums or $1.5 billion).
In third place for investments in fixed capital in nine months of 2021 is the Bukhara region (13.8 trillion soums or $ 1.2 billion).
