Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend D.Khatinoglu / New discussions began at the Security Council of Iran between Iran and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The delegation headed by the IAEA deputy director general for safeguards, Ollie Heinonen,arrived in Tehran on 29 October to begin discussions over the Iranian centrifuges P1 and P2, IRNA reports.
The Iranian side in the two day discussions is headed by the Atomic Organization's Deputy Chairman for International Relations, Muhammed Saidy. Saidy positive assessed the discussions between Iran and IAEA and stated that the discussions will take place in two stages.
Positively assessing the discussions with Iran, Hinoen voiced his confidence that in the future, Iran will more closely co-operate with the IAEA. Earlier the discussions over the Iranian centrifuges P1 and P2 took place on 24-25 September and 20-24 October.
