Iran Energy Exchange performance on Feb. 14

The products traded at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on Feb. 14 are:

Domestic ring:

- 44 tons of methanol from Shiraz Petrochemical Company;

- 200 tons of methanol from Shiraz Petrochemical Company;

-60,000 liters of 400 solvent from Esfahan Oil Refining Company;

-13,000 kilowatt hours of electricity from Zagros Kowsar Power Plant;

-5,000 cubic meters of light naphtha from Tehran Oil Refining Company;

- 118,000 kilowatt hours of electricity from Saba South West Power Generation Company;

-5,500 tons of gas condensate from South Pas Gas Complex;

-1,518 tons of heavy cut from Shazand Petrochemical Company;

- 17,000 kilowatt hours of electricity from Tadbirsazan Saramad (Urmia Combined-Cycle Power Plant).

Total value of the deals in the rings amounted to 208,532.66 million rials.

IRENEX is a market for trading energy futures and commodities, including oil, gas, electricity, petrochemicals and oil byproducts.

It was launched in 2013 as the fourth official Iranian exchange and operates under the supervision and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran.

More than 100 companies, including petrochemical plants, refineries and power plants offer their commodities at the exchange, according to the IRENEX website.
