Culture, as a general phenomenon, may be influenced by politics, but the Iranian culture will not be influenced, Iranian presidential candidate Mohammad Gharazi said.

If poverty dominates in a nation, it will certainly send away people from culture, he added.

The cultural resistance of the Iranian nation against global power led to the nationalization of the oil industry as to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Gharazi said.

Previously, Gharazi said that if elected president, he will do all he can to fight inflation and unemployment.

Gharazi, who is also the former oil minister said in a TV interview that low inflation and high employment rate are the main features of popular government, the Fars News Agency reported.

Gharazi stressed that the next administration needs to confine its spending to its annual budget, in order to avoid price hikes and prevent a decrease in the value of the national currency.

He added that the next administration should not change its policy towards the US, unless Washington changes its bullying approach.

Iran will hold the 11th presidential election on June 14, 2013.

The voters will select the successor of the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for the third term according to the country's constitutional laws.

The president of Iran is elected for a four-year.
