Trade relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are expanding, Kyrgyz Parliamentary Speaker Ahmatbek Keldibekov said at a press conference following his visit to Azerbaijan.
Trade between the two countries stood at $5.8 million in 2010, which was too low figure, he said.
"Great potential exists for Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan cooperation. Kyrgyzstan is rich in natural resources and Azerbaijan may widely invest in this area," Keldibekov said.
A large government delegation headed by the Kyrgyz prime minister is expected to visit Azerbaijan in the near future. Development of bilateral ties will be discussed during the visit.
Keldibekov said Kyrgyzstan recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be resolved peacefully without force.
