Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani will make her first foreign visit to Strasbourg, where meetings will be held in the Council of Europe on November 22-23.
Meetings with the CE secretary general, in the monitoring committee of the CE Parliamentary Assembly, the European Court of Human Rights, the Department for enforcement of the European Court judgments, as well as the Commissioner for Human Rights are planned during the visit.
The Justice Ministry reported that Tea Tsulukiani will meet with the chairman of the court and the chief manager and judges in the European Court of Human Rights. Also a working meeting with representatives of the European Court, working with materials on Georgia, is planned.
The minister will introduce the court representatives to the initiatives aimed at strengthening the protection of human rights and relief of the European Court from cases on Georgia. The prospects for cooperation with the European Court in other areas will also be discussed.
