Georgia launched conversations with Iran regarding the agreement on free trade between the two countries.
Trends special correspondent reports from Georgia quoting Georgian Minister of Economic Development Irakly Chogovadze that Iran is an interesting market for Georgia.
The intergovernmental meeting on economic issues is held in Iran in September. During the meeting the parties will discuss this issue as well. Georgia is eager to reach such an agreement, said minister, as Tbilisi already prepared similar document to sign with countries of EU and CIS and Turkey.
