Gismet Printing House is preparing to publish "Koran" (pocket book), intended for the military people, the dean of faculty of theology of Baku State University Vasim Mammadaliyev said during presentation of "Koran Kerim" book: explanatory translation into Azeri, "Yasin" and short suras.
"Koran Kerim" book: explanatory translation into Azeri, "Yasin" and short suras, published by the Caucasus Muslims Office and Gismet Printing House, was presented.
New book was published in 5000 copies. Books are not intended for sale, they will be distributed free of charge.
"Koran" will soon be published with Azeri-Arabic and Russian-Arabic translation. Significant changes and corrections were made to recently printed "Koran", attentive work was carried out for more accurate translation.
This publication, with its modern design, will differ with some technical features.
This book is the eleventh edition of the Azeri translation of the Koran.
