Turkish Armed Forces continue counter-terrorist offensive in northern Syria

The Turkish Armed Forces continue offensive in northern Syria as part of the fight against terrorism, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
One Turkish soldier was killed during the anti-terrorist operations, according to the report.
“The Turkish artillery continues massive shelling of terrorists’ positions,” the report said.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the beginning of a new military operation entitled 'Source of Peace' in Syria on Oct. 9. The president stressed that Turkey will completely destroy the hotbeds of terrorism in northern Syria.
On Oct. 7, Erdogan said that in anticipation of the beginning of new military operations by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Syria, the US servicemen began to leave the region.
