In the 1H2019, a small bread producing enterprise will be opened in Azerbaijan's Oghuz town, Sakina Babayeva, the head of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, told Trend.
The enterprise will be opened at the expense of women entrepreneurs, Babayeva noted.
"The opening of new small enterprises is necessary for the development of the business climate in the regions, as well as the accumulation of production experience in this area. In turn, our association provided organizational support in this matter, we shared our experience as well as practical skills in this area with women entrepreneurs in the regions," she said.
Babayeva added that the association is developing a strategy for the development of female entrepreneurship, which provides for the opening of new business facilities in Baku and the regions.
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was created with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and was established in October 2017.
Over 143,000 women are engaged in business in Azerbaijan, according to statistics.
