Over 20 villages have been flooded in the Azerbaijani southern region of Masalli.
The yesterday's heavy rains which began at around 01:00 caused flooding over 20 villages by the Vilashchay and Boradigah rivers, the Chairman of the region's Emergency Situations Commission, Nadir Abiyev told Trend . The level of the river has reached 60-70 centimeters and one metre - in some villages.
Five territorial representations of the region remained without communication and power. Further, the regional centre and some villages of the Lankaran region remained without light, as well.
