Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called Michael Saakashvili, who won the recent presidential elections in Georgia. Mr Aliyev congratulated Mr Saakashvili on his election to the presidential post and wished him every success.
Mr Saakashvili expressed his thanks to Mr Aliyev.
Mr Aliyev and Mr. Saakashvili expressed confidence in further expansion of cooperation, which has successfully developed between the countries.
