Georgia, Tbilisi, 4 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / The Georgian Foreign Minister Yekaterina Tkeshelashvili and her Italian counterpart Franco Frattini discussed resolution adopted by the European Union (EU) summit in Tbilisi on 3 September. "This decision was made a while ago and we discussed concrete details of this document today," Tkeshelashvili said at a joint briefing after a meeting with Frattini.

"The main thing is that Europe could maintain unity on ceasefire document and concrete terms were determined to carry out this document - the French President Nicolas Sarkozy will visit Moscow and meet with the Russian President Medvedev on 8 September," she said and stressed that just on that day it would be announced whether Russia would carry out undertaken obligations to withdraw its troops from Georgia and return to positions on 7 August.

"The summit in Brussels decided to involve the EU in revival of the Georgian economy and unambiguously supported territorial integrity of Georgia," Tkeshelashvili said.

She stressed that all aid of the EU would be directed to economic revival of Georgia.
