Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 13/ Trend , R. Ergun/ Azerbaijani football specialists say Baki team has more chances to become champion of the Azerbaijani Premier League.
"Each of the seven teams who won the first round of the Premier League has a chance to win. But I think Baki team is stronger," Azerbaijani national football squad and Khazar-Lankaran team's former chief Agasalim Mirjavadov told Trend .
Inter ranks 1st with 31 points, Baki - 2nd with with 29 points, Simurq - 3rd with 28 points and Khazar-Lankaran - 4th with 26 points in the first round of the Premier League. Olimpik and Karvan share 5th and 6th places with 25 points each. Garabagh ranks 7th with 24 points.
Former chief coach of Azerbaijani national squad Vagif Sadigov says Baki, Inter and Khazar-Lankaran have more chances to win.
"Now it is difficult to predict something. But I think Baki, Inter and Khazar-Lankaran teams are stronger. I believe one of them is going to win Azerbaijani Premier League," Sadigov added.
Former chief coach of Azerbaijani team of players aged 21 Shakir Garibov says Baki is more likely to win Premier League.
He said Baki has signed with high-skilled footballers. Inter has a strong staff as well. Khazar-Lankaran has transferred famous footballers from Turkey. But I believe Baki more prepared for the second round.
Each of Baki, Inter and Khazar-Lankaran teams has become Azerbaijani champion once.
Inter was Premier League's last winner.
Former chief coach of MOIK team Vagif Pashayev also says Baki club is most likely to win.
"Baki has stronger players. I think it will win. Khazar-Lankaran, Inter and Garabagh teams can struggle for championship," Pashyev said.
Second round of the Azerbaijani Premier League will start tomorrow.
Garabagh will take on Bakili, MOIK - Baki and Mugan - Gabala.
