Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, September 19 / Trend G.Hasanov / In accordance with the decree by Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov on Conducting Oraza Bayram (Ramadan), 21 September was declared the day off.
In these days, the Turkmen leader received letters from the heads of state, which contain congratulations for the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of Ramadan.
On the occasion of the sacred Islamic Night of Omnipotence in the days of Ramadan, the President signed a decree to pardon.
In accordance with the decree, 1,284 people, including 21 foreign nationals, were freed from the further serving the basic sentence, as well as additional punishment in the form of imposing duties of their stay in a particular locality.
