Georgia, Tbilisi, June 21 / N. Kirtskhalia /
The statement on the case of the first Georgian President's son Gamsakhurdia Tsotne will be submitted to the European Court of Human Rights. It will be sent to Strasbourg one of these days, Gamsakhurdia's lawyer Keti Bekauri said.
Bekauri said that the lawyer will call for the European Court to force the Georgian government to create conditions for Gamsakhurdia to end the strike, i.e., his demands to be met.
There were similar precedents in the European Court, Bekauri said.
The lawyer also said that Tsotne Gamsakhurdia few days ago refused from dry hunger strike and drinks water.
Tsotne Gamsakhurdia was sentenced to nine-year-imprisonment for attempted premeditated murder. He protests against the conditions of detention in prison.
