Azerbaijan and Serbia signed an ‘Agreement on the mutual cancellation of visa requirements for holders of foreign passports,’ Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The document was signed following a meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Serbian counterpart Nikola Selakovic.
During the meeting held at the Serbian Foreign Ministry, the parties expressed satisfaction with the current state of the strategic partnership between Baku and Belgrade and mutual interest in developing cooperation in various fields.
The ministers also noted the successful development of the activities of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Serbia, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding on Consular Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Serbia, were signed.
On the same day, Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev and Minister of Defense of Serbia Nebojša Stefanović signed an ‘Agreement on military-technical cooperation between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the Republic Serbia.’
