On the initiative of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) the scientific-practical conference on the subject “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijanis of the World” was held today at the “Europe” Hotel. Along with the YAP leaders, heads of other parties, deputies and officials took part in the event, Trend reports.
The YAP executive secretary Ali Ahmedov while opening the conference noted the invaluable merits of Heydar Aliyev for consolidation of the Azerbaijanis in the world. Other participants, deputies Mubariz Gurbanli, Yagub Mamhmudov, Nizami Djafarov and other underlined foresight and policy of Heydar Aliyev in this aspect.
The event was timed to the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the world, the 31-st of December.
