Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. D.Khatinoglu / The political scientist Alirza Nurizadeh considers that Iran has taken a positive step in its nuclear program, as the latest visit of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) visit to Iran was not to familiarize itself with Iran's nuclear facilities, but for other purposes. If the IAEA does not control Iran's nuclear program then the agency will increase its pressure on the country. On 5 August, the IAEA delegation paid a visit to Tehran regarding the country's nuclear program. The information agency of ILNA reported that the IAEA did not state that they would visit nuclear facilities in Iran.
In compliance with the protocol of IAEA signed with Iran, the official Tehran has to keep the doors of the country open for the agency. Such an action will allow the IAEA to keep control over the implementation of Iran's nuclear program. The facilities have been registered in the agency, and have been kept under control, and today we can answer the question of whether or not Iran has fulfilled its responsibilities taken before the IAEA. The problem is the IAEA has no control over a range of nuclear facilities otherwise, and it does not know about their existence. The IAEA did not express serious dissatisfaction regarding Iran's nuclear program.
