France, Strasburg, 28 March / Trend corr.A.Maharramli / Jean-Paul Costa, the chairman of the European Court of Human rights, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan from 1 to 5 May 2008, Azerbaijan's permanent representative in the Council of Europe reported to Trend .
Costa stated that he would pay visits to European Court of Human rights member-countries in 2008. Costa's visits target is to develop the legal system, implement Court's decisions and strengthening of relations of local courts with European Court.
In 2008, Costa will visit Slovakia, Andorra, Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, Greece, Cyprus and Poland.
