Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr Z. Safarov / Azerbaijani gymnast Aliya Garayeva took seventh place in the finals in the skip-rope competition at the World Student Games held in Bangkok.
The Azerbaijani gymnast, who is a European champion, this time failed to take one of the first three places. She scored 15.725 points leaving behind only Estonian Irina Kikkas.
Meanwhile, first place of the skip-rope competition went to Ukrainian Anna Bessonova, the second place was given to Russian Vera Sessina, and the third place to Ukrainian Natalya Godunko.
Garayeva is still in the games with the hoop and ribbon matches.
