BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6. Tax revenues to Azerbaijan’s Government Budget increased by 55.2 percent from January through April 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on Twitter, Trend reports.
Minister noted that high performance was achieved due to the results of reforms carried out under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in direction of accelerating the process of restoring country's economy and further improving the welfare of citizens.
Tax revenues to government budget exceeded 5.03 billion manat ($2.9 billion), and the forecast for them was overfulfilled by 50.5 percent, he said.
"Revenues to the government budget from non-oil sector increased by 49.7 percent and exceeded 3.4 billion manat ($2 billion). The forecast for them was overfulfilled by 33.5 percent," said the minister.
