Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 March /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / Initiated by the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE), the meeting of the Working Committee of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) is expected to be held in Azerbaijan on 13-14 May, the Chairman of BSE Board, Khayal Abdinov, said.
BSE joined the FEAS as a full member in 2001, but in November 2006, BSE was elected to the FEAS Executive Committee.
According to Abdinov, usually the Committee considers the issues (including FEAS measures for 2008), which are later presented to the agenda of the Federation's General Assembly for approval, but the program has not been confirmed as yet. However, holding the Committee's meeting in Baku does not mean that the General Assembly will also come together in Azerbaijan.
Organized by the Ukrainian Stock Exchange, the previous meeting of the Working Committee took place in May 2007, but the General Assembly took place in Belgrade.
