Experts of the International Labour Organization (ILO) showed interest in Azerbaijan's measures to minimize influences of the global financial crisis, head of the Labour and Social Protection Ministry International cooperation Department Elnur Sultanov said on June 16.
Azerbaijani Labour and Social Protection Minister Fuzuli Alakparov delivered a report on country's measures to provide social protection on the background of global economic crisis and to minimize its influences at the 98th session in Geneva on June 9.
The session was held under the title, "Response of society to global crisis". ILO experts, in particular ILO general director Juan Samovia, offered Azerbaijan to share experience on the matter with other ILO participating countries.
The potential strengthening of ILO to assist participating countries to reach globalization was reviewed at the session.
