Germany and Austria will be new members of the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises (UBCCE), head of the UBCCE and the Azerbaijan Turkey Business Association (ATIB), Ahmet Erentok said at the meeting with heads of the energy and other structures as a part of his working visit to Toronto (Canada).
Erentok held meetings with the presidents of the Atlantic Council and the Federation of Turkish circles in Canada, a board member of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), chairman of the Canada-Azerbaijan shopping center and the head of the Azerbaijan-Canada friendship association, as well as with other heads of the Azerbaijani-Canadian entities.
During the visit Erentok made a speech on the UBCCE being the first union of non governmental organizations in the history of the region and the activities of the organization.
The meetings also discussed prospects of the future cooperation and joint activities.
The Azerbaijan-Turkey Business Association (ATIB) was founded in April, 2004. About 91 companies with the Azerbaijani-Turkish capital are represented here. Total aggregate capital of the ATIB members is $800 million and their investments in Azerbaijani economy amounts to $3 billion.
