Second National exhibition of Belarus Republic starts in Baku

The second National exhibition of Belarus Republic, organized by the Foreign Ministry and Trade Ministry, as well as the Belarusian Commercial and Industrial Chamber with Azerbaijani Embassy in Belarus May 5-7 in Baku, Nikolay Patskevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan said today at a press conference.
"This exhibition will not only to demonstrate the potential of Belarus, but will allow the Azerbaijani and Belarusian businessmen to discuss prospective projects and work out concrete proposals," Patskevich said.
The exhibition, to be held in the Sports and Exhibition Complex named after Heydar Aliyev, will be attended by around 150 Belarusian companies. Direct acquaintance with the Belarusian goods at the exhibition will allow representatives of business circles of both countries to identify areas for further cooperation, discuss urgent issues and prospects of trade and economic relations
Within the exhibition technologies of the Belarusian manufacturers will be demonstrated. Also, Production Unit "MAZ" jointly with Azerbaijani partners - Ganja automobile plant, where the assembly production of MAZ trucks is carried out, will demonstrate eight models of vehicles.
Within the exhibition workshop-presentation "Status and prospects of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus" will be held.
The first National exhibition of Belarus in Azerbaijan was held in 2007.
