Consumer prices and tariffs for services increased by 1.4 percent in Azerbaijan in December 2010 compared to November, the State Statistics Committee reported. The figure increased by 5.7 percent in 2010 compared to 2009.
Food prices rose by 2 percent in December, while non-food products by 0.9 percent, tariffs for services by 0.2 percent.
In 2010 compared to 2009, food prices rose by 7.2 percent, food prices - 2.3 percent, while tariffs for services - 4.3 percent.
In December, the base consumer price index, increased by 0.8 percent compared to the previous month and 3.5 percent - December 2009.
