Head of Iran's National Petrochemical company dismissed

Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh has dismissed Abdolhosseyn Bayat from his post as the had of Iran's National Petrochemical Company, Mehr news agency reported.

Abbas Shari Moghaddam has been appointed as the new head of Iran's National Petrochemical Company.

Moghaddam has a masters degree from Amir Kabir University Tehran, and has worked as a line manager & middle manager in maintenance and technical services of Shiraz Petrochemical Complex from 1966 to 1983.

From 1994 to 2006 he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of BIPC (Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company in Tehran).

He also served as a member of the board of Directors, Technical Director, Director of Operation of NPC from 1983 to 1994.
