Turkish import totaled $233.8 billion in 2017 that is by $3.5 billion more than in 2016, according to a report of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
The report says that China ranks first in the list of countries exporting goods to Turkey. The country imported goods and services worth $23.3 billion from China in 2017.
Turkish import from Germany stood at $21.3 billion, from Russia - $19.5 billion, from the US - $11.9 billion, from Italy - $11.3 billion, from France - $8 billion in 2017.
According to the report, Iran ranks seventh in top-20 list of countries, from which Turkey imports goods.
Iran exported goods worth $7.4 billion to Turkey in 2017 that is by $2.7 billion less than in 2016.
The report says that the Czech Republic ranks twentieth in top-20 list of countries, from which Turkey imports goods.
Turkish import from the Czech Republic totaled $2.8 billion in 2017 that is by $2.6 million less than in 2016.
