The T625 helicopter, developed in Turkey, will be ready for production by mid-2018, a source in the Turkish government told Trend Feb. 7.
The helicopter was developed by Turkish engineers and designed for use in rescue and military purposes, as well as for VIP transportation, said the source.
The source noted that the T625 helicopter was for the first time presented at the international defense industry fair IDEF-2017 in Istanbul.
The carrying capacity of the helicopter will be six tons. It is equipped with two engines and five rotor blades, said the source.
“The new helicopter is designed to transport 12 passengers,” added the source.
