Uzbek 'Toshkent' RSE trade volume exceeds $400,000

Total turnover of the Toshkent Republic Stock Exchange (RSE) reached 3.3 billion soums during March 5-9 trade week, press office of the Uzbek Competition Committee said in a message.
According to the information, a total of 120 deals were carried out on securities of 20 joint stock corporations. As a result, 4.1 million securities were realized.
The press office reported that deals on securities of banks were the most popular and accounted for 98 percent of the total trade volume.
The largest deal was carried out on March 9. It resulted in 1.2 billion soums worth 1.2 million securities of the private joint stock commercial bank (PJSCB) Ravnaq-bank being sold. Price of one security was 1,000 soums.
The Hamkorbank JSCB was a leader in number of deals carried out. During the week, 2 million securities of the bank totaling 312.7 million soums were realized in 83 deals at the Toshkent RSE.
Average daily turnover of the exchange totaled 817 million soums, with average deal amount being 27.2 million soums. At the same time, average price of a security amounted to 794.3 soums.
Ravnaq-bank PJSCB with 54.3 percent weekly turnover share, Universal bank JSCB with 34.1 percent, Hamkorbank JSCB with 9.5 percent and Neft taminot JSC with 1.2 percent were leader of the trade week.
Since the beginning of 2018, 500 deals on securities amounting to 24.9 billion soums were carried out at Toshkent RSE. A total of 146.8 securities from 46 emitters were traded.
