Cash in circulation increases almost by 9% in Azerbaijan

The money supply rate (M2) (cash in circulation outside banks) amounted to 12.6 billion manats as of late May 2018 increasing by 8.9 percent as compared to May 2017, Azerbaijan’s Central Bank said in a report.

The amount of cash money supply (M0) increased by 7.8 percent for the year up to 7.05 billion manats, and Broad Money Supply (M3) totaled 22.15 billion manats or by 6.2 percent more compared to late May 2017.

The transaction money (M1) increased by 15 percent during the year up to 10.27 billion manats.
